Share a letter, a word, or your streak — new in NidNoi

Learning Thai is often a private habit — ten minutes on the bus, a flashcard before bed. But sometimes you want to show a friend what you're working on, celebrate a streak, or post a word you're proud of. NidNoi 1.3 adds share cards for exactly that.

What you can share

• Any letter from the alphabet — open a consonant, vowel, or tone mark and tap the share icon. You get a portrait card with the big glyph, its name, how it sounds, and an example word.
• Any vocabulary word — open a word from the list and tap share. The card shows the Thai script, romanization, English meaning, and color-matched sound-by-sound chips when we have a verified breakdown.
• Your learning progress from the home screen — streak, letters explored, words learned, and quiz best score, in one image you can share with friends.

How sharing works

Tap share and iOS opens the normal share sheet. Send the card to Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram Stories, or anywhere else your phone allows.

The card is a single image, so it looks good on social apps. A short caption is copied to your clipboard at the same time — paste it into your post or bio if you want friends to find NidNoi.

Why we built it

Thai script is beautiful. A single letter like ก or ข makes a great story post — and so does a word like ขอบคุณ with its sound-by-sound chips visible. Streaks are silly, but they work: seeing "7 days" on a card might be the nudge that keeps you opening the app tomorrow.

We kept it simple: no account, no feed inside NidNoi. You share through the tools you already use. If a feature helps you stay curious about Thai, it belongs in the app.
